Hiking, Travelling and Dreaming

This was intended to be my thoughts on travelling, but I'll have to tame my wanderlust for a while longer....

Celebrated American thanksgiving with E's family lastnight. We had a family game night too (without Terrence, Jayne, or Gao)... It was fun.

It's getting really wintery outide. I feel like in 3 days, it became winter. I tried to run, but may resort to indoor running soon, as it is challenging to run when you can't feel your thighs. Hmm maybe I need some kind of windproof pants to run in?

I feel ready for a break and for the semester to end. But don't want finals to begin...

Congrats to Terrence... FYI: Next week he starts working 9-5 shifts. He will be able to go line dancing with me now and won't be able to stay up until all hours of the night.

Back to my phonology studying....

ASL or Augmentative Communication??

I don't feel like making a decision.... And this year I had none, no classes to pick, nothing to decide. But I have an option for next semester.

I could take American Sign Language (ASL). But it's an intro class and I already took one last year (which I loved). Therefore, this could be an easy class and give me a break and it fits nicely into my schedule.

The other option:

Augmentative Communication. If you don't know what that is, I suggest you wikipedia it. This could be interesting and it would be something very new. But it doesn't fit as nicely into my schedule.

Yah, so what do you think?

Nothing he can do is good enough for dad.

His music, nope.
His apartment, no way. In fact dad wouldn't even step foot in it.

No wonder he runs to a quick dopamine fix for his woes... at least it's there for him!

I swear it's true...

So I am bored of working on a language project and decided to play in Wikipedia. I searched Matapedia and found this included :

"Many of the islands on the river, which are only accessible by canoe, contain lush marijuana groves (mostly of m39 and frieseland hybrids) planted by fisherman looking to subsidize their income." (Wikipedia, 2005)

Wow!! Who wrote that entry?? Didn't know that!! Is that cool or what??
