Hiking, Travelling and Dreaming

This was intended to be my thoughts on travelling, but I'll have to tame my wanderlust for a while longer....

J'sais pas quoi dire. My apt is cold and the heating bill was outrageous for last month. I'm in the mood to clean and organize but I shouldn't bother. To those who rent an apt in Montreal or any part of Canada: Make sure HEAT is included! No matter what, it will be safer.

Well I'm gonna do some house cleaning:
-mopping
-sweeping
-dishes
-pick up the clutter

It'll be fun:)

I'm gonna figure out how to see the whole world while I'm young. I graduate in a year and then will begin my quest- searching for my identity. I want to first head to Europe, especially Spain. Then I plan on trekking through the middle east but first spending time in Israel, maybe to work on a kibbutz and try a socialist way of life. Then I need to get to China where I will practice my few phrases of Mandarin, hopefully to build on them. I'd like to teach English there. I also wanna see Australia, Africa and South America but I'm not sure when.

For now I have to disinfect the apt and put away my laundry.

I must look like a tree planter. Not sure what exactly it is about me that says "tree planter" but something most surely does. In the metro several times, people have approached me about the Banff patches on my backpack. I told them I worked "out there". So then I get asked if I was a forest ranger or a tree planter! I get a surprised look when I say I was "just a waitress". I do love hiking, scrambling and the outdoors though so maybe it's a compliment to be thought of as a tree-planter. And in the city, there are so many girlie-girls. Proudly, I'm definately not one of them.

My guy friends even wear more make-up than me. No offense Mercury! And he isn"t even a drag queen!

Wow! It"s been pretty cold lately -38 c weather is cold enough for me!
